How it works

The basics

You predict the outcome of real football matches. When the match finishes, your prediction settles automatically and you earn XP if you called it right.

There is no entry fee, no stake and no cash prize. What you are playing for is a position on a table and the right to say you saw it coming.

Pick a club when you sign up and its competition appears in your feed. Follow as many more clubs and competitions as you like — the fixtures you see are the ones you actually care about.

How XP works

Harder calls are worth more. Every prediction is priced from the real betting market, so backing a heavy favourite earns a little and calling an upset earns a lot.

Figures are illustrative — the exact value depends on the market at the moment you predict, and every market has a ceiling so a single freak result cannot decide a season.

Why your XP never changes

The value is frozen the moment you submit. If you back a team at 20% on Tuesday and their star striker is injured on Thursday, the odds move — but your prediction is still worth what it was worth when you made it.

This matters more than it sounds. Without it, predicting early would be a gamble on what the odds do next rather than on the football. Freezing the value means the person who called it first gets the credit for calling it first.

The four markets

Each fixture offers up to four things to predict:

• Match result — home win, draw or away win. The bread and butter.
• Both teams to score — yes or no.
• Over/under goals — will the match beat the goal line.
• Correct score — the hardest call in football, priced accordingly.

You can predict as many or as few as you like on any fixture. Predictions lock at kickoff, and the clock that decides that is ours, not your device's.

Private leagues

This is where the game actually lives. Create a league, share one link, and everyone who joins is predicting the same fixtures as you.

Leagues have a weekly table and a season table. The weekly one resets, so a bad Saturday is not a season ruined and someone joining in November still has something to win.

There is no cap on how many leagues you belong to — work, mates, family, the pub. Your predictions count in all of them at once.

Last Man Standing

A different game using the same fixtures. Each round you pick one team to win. They win, you survive to the next round. They draw or lose, you are out.

The catch: you can only use each club once. Spending Manchester City on the opening weekend means you cannot call on them again in March when you need them. That constraint is the whole game.

• Picks are secret until the round locks, then everyone's is revealed at once.
• A postponed match does not eliminate you, and does not use up that club.
• If everyone goes out in the same round, the round is void and you all survive.
• If more than one player is left when the fixtures run out, you are co-champions.

Levels, coins and streaks

XP is your career total and never goes down. It drives your level, which is a record of everything you have ever called correctly.

Coins accumulate alongside XP on correct predictions. They exist for things you will be able to spend them on later.

Streaks count consecutive correct predictions. They are the stat most worth protecting and the one most painful to lose.

When results land

Automatically, within minutes of the final whistle. No manual scoring, no waiting for someone to update a spreadsheet.

Every settlement writes to a permanent ledger, and a nightly audit checks that your displayed totals match that ledger exactly. If they ever disagree, the ledger is right and we investigate — your record is not something we are willing to guess at.

Postponed or abandoned matches are voided, not guessed. You get no XP and lose nothing.

Fairness and your data

• No stake, no cash prizes. This is not gambling and does not pretend to be adjacent to it.
• Predictions lock at kickoff, on our clock. Nobody can predict a match in progress.
• Your profile is private by default. Public is opt-in, and unavailable to under-16s.
• Your data is yours. Export it or delete it whenever you like. We do not sell it.
• 13+. Under-13s cannot create an account.

Common questions

Is this gambling?

No. There is no stake, no cash prize and nothing to lose. If you would like help with gambling, BeGambleAware is there for that.

Does it cost anything?

Playing and creating leagues are free. Cosmetic extras may be paid later; the game will not be.

What if I join a league late?

Weekly tables reset, so you are competing from the week you arrive. The season table will show the gap honestly — but the weekly one gives you something to win immediately.

Which competitions can I predict?

The top divisions across England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Portugal and Scotland, plus MLS and the European competitions — with lower tiers in several countries. Browse them all in the app.

Can I change a prediction?

Yes, any time before kickoff. After that it locks and the frozen XP stands.

What happens at the end of the season?

Season tables are archived and a champion is crowned in each league. Your XP, level and career record carry forward — they are yours permanently.
